A French quarter repeating verge pocket watch with two Jacquemarts à trois couleurs, circa 1810. Full plate movement, chain/fusee, two hammers, two gongs and three armed brass balance.
Dial three colour gold, skeletonized, visible mirror polished rack strike, the centre of the dial has a small white enamel chapter ring with Arabic hours, the two Jacquemarts, a man and a woman in three colour gold period garments, striking the hours with their hammers onto two large bells that are visible in the upper half of the dial. 18 Carat rose gold case, engine turned, casemaker’s punch mark P&S.
