Schild & Co. SA
In 1906, Schild & Co. was founded by Otto Schild, but its origins go back to 1889. At the time, Arthur Graizely and his brother established the company Graizely Frères. Graizely obtained a patent from Irenée Aubry for a pocket watch with an eight day movement known as the Hebdomas. In 1904, a partnership developed between Graizely and Schild. The company was then renamed Graizeley & Co. In 1906, Graizely was completely integrated into Schild & Co. based in Rue du Parc, La-Chaux-de-Fonds.
