With an Extract from the Archives confirming sale of movement only in 1903.When activated by depressing the crown, the trip repeat chimes the hours, quarters, and minutes on demand powered by the second train within the movement. As opposed to traditional repeaters that strike on demand via a spring-driven slide on the side of the case, trip repeaters allow the user to elegantly and effortless sound the repeater with the light push of a button.According to our research, this watch represents the only known trip repeating watch by Patek Philippe to feature this unusual Art Deco dial.
