A very fine Swiss hunting cased 18 carat gold pocket chronometer watch, circa 1850. High quality chronometer movement. Covers entirely beautiful cengraved with foliate scrolls. Sprung front and back, both covers opened by depressing the button in the gold pendant. Hinged gold cuvette, signed: Chronometer de poche, echappement libre, à Ressort à Bascule, Balancier à  Compensation, Spiral Isochrone, Lebet & Fils à Buttes en Suisse.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, Blued steel spade hands. Gilt movement, 13 rubies, cut bi metallic compensation balance, blued steel balance spring, index regulator.
