A very fine and rare Swiss, keyless, open faced, minute repeating, 18K pink gold pocket watch, circa 1899. With split seconds chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Retailed and cased by Tiffany & Co., New York, sold on July 23rd, 1900.
A solid, polished case, case back with monogram, rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds function, locking bolt at 11 o’clock, concealed hinges. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5 seconds divisions with red Arabic 5-minute/seconds markers, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. A nickel-silver, Geneva striping decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co.
