A very fine Swiss, thin, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch with a two-tone dial, circa 1940. A solid, polished and brushed case, lapidated bezel. Two-tone silver dial with applied yellow gold Roman numerals and pyramid indexes on an outer reserve, guilloché subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold bâton hands. Movement stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
