An extremely rare Swiss gunmetal open faced gentleman’s pocket watch with digital calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. Glazed bridge movement by LeCoultre, a lever escapement, screw compensation balance and complex calendar mechanism.
A plain case. Silvered dial with radial Arabic numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock with a concentric aperture for the moon phases, windows for the digital indication for the days, date and months in French and blued spade hands.
