A Swiss very fine and rare 18 carat gold and enamel purse form pocket watch, circa 1840. The rectangular opaque polychrome enamelled case with a fine composition of summer flowers against a light green ground, the front set with a small brilliant, a further engraved border, pusher to open the case and two chainlets with a loop. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued moon hands. Frosted gilt heart shaped key wind bridge movement with a cylinder escapement and three arm brass balance.
