A Swiss extremely rare 18K gold and enamel Ankerchromometer pocket watch, circa 1860. Very fine Ankerchronometer movement, wolf’s toothing, a very large chronometer balance, gold screws, very large moustache lever as it was also used by Patek Philippe.
Cuvette inscribed Chronometre. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, gold Arabic minutes, gold subsidiary seconds and steel fleur-de-lys hands. À goutte case with very fine en grisaille enamel painting on the back, case maker’s punch AE. Cuvette signed and numbered.
