A rare and fine Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with a mock pendulum, duplex escapement, and original box, circa 1860. This watch features a silver engine-turned case with an engraved cartouche and a reeded band. The silvered engine-turned dial showcases a stylized chased and gilt table clock with white enamel cartouches, Arabic numerals, a centre seconds hand, an aperture for a mock pendulum, and elegant blued Breguet hands. The watch’s movement is a full plate design, keywind, frosted and gilt, with a duplex escapement and a five-arm gold balance.
