A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch, Tir Federal Fribourg by Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève, circa 1934. Specially made for the Fribourg “Tir Federal” crossbow archery contest, in 1934. A solid, polished hinged gold cuvette, the back cover cast with the design by W. Jordan Del Hugenin SC. of a stylized figure of a kneeling archer surrounded by the inscription Tir Federal Fribourg 1934.

White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blue painted Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds, black Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement, bar caliber, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swanneck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
