Silver marksman’s pocket watch

A pocket watch in original museum condition with chain, papers, four advertising postcards, an associated silver medal and the original presentation box made for the 1910 Federal Shooting Festival in Bern by Longines Francillon S.A. in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, circa 1910. The numbered relief case crafted from silver has a cuvette marked Eidgenössisches Schützenfest Bern 1910 and bears the Swiss silver hallmark. The numbered movement is fitted with a lever escapement and fine adjustment.
The case and movement have matching numbers, and the presentation box, dial and movement are signed.

It is extremely rare to find a marksman’s watch in such complete original condition with all accessories, including the rare silver award medal. The watch comes from one of the most important Longines collections, a large part of which is now in the Longines Museum.
