A rare French 18 Carat gold, enamel and pearl set quarter repeating pendant watch with a short gold chain and key, circa 1815. An Empire case, reeded band, pearl set bezel, the back set with a panel of royal blue translucent enamel over sunray engine-turning, pearl set border and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A matte gilt movement, standing barrel, cylinder escapement, three arm gold balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on polished square section gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Cuvette signed.
