A very fine numbered Chronometer pocket watch in the original box, made by Vacheron & Constantin in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1915. The plain open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 Carat gold, is numbered and has a cuvette inscribed with Chronometre. The white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. The extremely high quality movement has an anker chronometer escapement with 21 jewels, a special fine adjusting device, wolf’s toothing and adjustments in eight positions.
