Pink gold keyless pocket watch

A very fine Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1888. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Retailed by M. Scooler in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. Solid polished case with a chronograph locking slide in the band and hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions and outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, blued steel spade hands.
Rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, a counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator, the chronograph activated by depressing the winding crown and by a button in the band. Movement signed, dial signed by the retailer, case numbered.
