A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel hunting cased key wind pocket watch made for the Spanish market by Robert Brandt & Compagnie, circa 1840. The gilt lever movement with a bimetallic compensation balance. Matte silvered engine turned dial with applied filigree decoration to the rim, Roman numerals and a painted center depicting a country scene. A decoratively engraved case with the polychrome enamel depiction of a young lady on the front cover, a lakeside mountain scene on the back and a cuvette. Cuvette signed, and the case indistinctly numbered.
