A Swiss yellow gold and enamel hunting-cased lever watch made for the Spanish market, circa 1850, three quarter plate nickel lever movement, gold cuvette.
Silvered dial, Roman numerals, finely applied three colour gold filigree decoration to the border and centerfield, subsidiary seconds, engraved hunting case, the front cover with painted enamel scene depicting a gentleman courting a lady, the back cover with enamel scene depicting a cherub, case numbered, cuvette and movement signed.
