A fine rare and very elegant 18 Carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with black sector dial. Made by Jaeger-LeCoultre and retailed by Golay Fils & Stahl Genève Circa 1940. Three-body polished inclined case with stepped bezel, flat band, snap-on back and rectangular bow.
Black dial with bold painted gold sector indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold lozenge hands.
Black dial with bold painted gold sector indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and yellow gold lozenge hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and a micrometre regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed, dial also signed by the retailer.
