Gold decorative chatelaine watch

An exquisite French 22 carat gold, enamel and split pearl-set verge pocket watch with matching chatelaine and heart-shaped key, circa 1810. Full plate movement, verge escapement, chain and fusee, three-arm brass balance. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions. The case is radial engine-turned on both sides, on the front nine gold bands in a radial pattern set with split pearls in different sizes lead towards a medallion in a wreath of leaves shows a monochrome enamel painting of a winged putto. Case numbered. Comes with a morocco presentation box and matching chatelaine exquisitely set with river pearls, the two-part pendant with two glazed enamel medallions showing monochrome putti against translucent, cobalt blue background.
