A fine and very large Swiss silver open faced repeating, hour and quarter striking coach watch with date and alarm, circa 1780. The movement with a verge escapement, repeating the hours and quarter hours on a bell. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, Arabic quarter hour numerals, an inner Arabic track for the date and original hands. A plain case.
