A rare and unusual Swiss silver open faced key wind pocket watch with hidden erotic scene made by Artus in Geneva, circa 1780. The gilt full plate movement with a fusee verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, and silver regulation. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, outermost five minute numerals and a winding aperture at 2 o’clock, the hands are (partially) missing. The polished case with a concealed polychrome enamel erotic scene on the cuvette. Movement signed.
