A rare and unusual Swiss silver open faced key wind pocket watch with concealed erotic scene made by Bordier in Geneva, circa 1780. The gilt full plate movement with a cylinder escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, and gilt regulation. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions, a winding aperture at 2 o’clock and blued steel moon hands. The polished hinged case with two hidden polychrome enamel scenes, one depicting a pair of lovers courting, and the second showing the same couple in an erotic rendezvous. Movement signed.
