Gold dumb quarter repeater

A French 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set open faced quarter repeating à toc pocket watch made by Robert Robin in Paris, circa 1790. The gilt movement with a cylinder escapement, and pierced and engraved balance bridge. White enamel dial with Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued moon hands. Both bezels are set with split pearls, the hinged case back is overlaid with translucent blue enamel over engine turning and further decorated with a heightened gold star motif. Movement signed and numbered, signed Robin HOGR. Du Roy to the dial plate bezel.
