An oversized Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch made by Girard-Perregaux SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds, circa 1915. The highly jewelled, nickel movement with a lever escapement and hammer repeating on gongs. A gold cuvette engraved with technical details and inscribed Hors Concours Liège 1905 – Milan 1906 – Paris 1900 – Grand Prix Bruxelles 1910. White enamel dial with Breguet hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, outer fifth of a second divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds and gold hands. The case with a chased bust of Napoleon on the front bordered by laurels, flowers and foliage. Dial, movement and cuvette signed, case numbered.
