A fine and elegant Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless ladies’ pendant watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1895. The rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, a straight line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. White enamel dial, blue Roman hours alternating with golden star half hour markers, an outer minute track, outermost gold Arabic five minute numerals and original gold Louis XVI hands. The case features a bezel, band and hinged back overlaid with translucent royal blue enamel on sunray engine turning. The hinged gold cuvette with an engraved dedication. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
