A rare Swiss 18K gold and enamel open faced cylinder pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, circa 1850. Flat bar movement, cylinder escapement.
Cuvette inscribed. White enamel dial with Ottoman numerals and fine Breguet hands. Polychrome enamel case, the back with a scene depicting sunset by Lake Geneva. Dial signed. Accompanied by the signed original box covered with tortoiseshell, spare glass and mainspring.
