A Swiss gilt silver and enamel open faced duplex pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Decorated gilt duplex movement, center seconds.
Cuvette with a fly spring mechanism. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions with Arabic quarter hours and gold hands. The polychrome enamel portrait of a lady over dark red translucent engine turned on the case back, the bezel on both sides set with original Orient pearls.
