A Swiss gilt key winding pocket watch with a hidden enamel erotic scene, circa 1860. Hunting cased watch, cover, and case back are engine turned. An erotic scene painted on enamel on copper, concealed in a secret compartment of the case back, showing a naked couple; making the beast with two backs … as Shakespeare said!  White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minutes track, subsidiary at 6 and blued steel hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, bimetallic compensated balance and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index regulator.
