Gold French cylinder for the Turkish market

A French cylinder by Leroy made for the Turkish market in a gold open faced case, circa 1840. Keywind gilt Lepine calibre movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Signed white enamel dial with Turkish numerals, gilt hands. Engine turned 18 carat open faced case with ribbed middle, wound and set through the signed gilt metal cuvette.
