Exceptional Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced pocket watch, circa 1860. Lever movement, calibre Gallopin/Capt Geneva, wolf’s toothing. Unique black enamel dial with same decoration as case, Roman numerals and rose gold fleur-de-lys hands. Case with very rare decoration, black enamel with floral gold inlays, in the middle a noble coat of arms with 4 eagles and a white enamelled cross as well a white enamelled noble crown with 9 serrations (Earl), pendant and bow also black enamelled. Signed and numbered dome.
