A very fine French 18 carat rose gold, diamond and pearl-set Louis XV pendant watch with original chatelaine, circa 1880. Cylinder movement, wolf’s toothing. White enamel Louis XV dial with black Roman hours and red Arabic minutes, extremely rare rose gold hands, also set with diamonds. Matching gold chatelaine with miniature pearl and diamond setting, two miniature pearls on the bow are missing. The case back engine-turned with applied gold and diamond-set monogram MN, rim and bow set with miniature pearls on both sides. Case signed and numbered, cuvette signed.
