A Swiss 9 carat gold open faced keyless wind pocket watch, Glasgow Import mark for 1937. Retailed by Asprey. Jewelled, ultra thin Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance. Two-tone silvered dial, applied gilt baton hour markers, Arabic numeral quarters, black outer minute track with 5 minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilt sword hands.
Polished round case, snap on back with personal inscription dated 17th June 1948. Case signed and numbered, dial and movement signed. Accompanied by 9 carat gold chain.
