A very interesting and early English silver open faced verge pendant watch with alarm, circa 1650-1680. Early verge movement, vase pillars, alarm on bell, filigree balance cock, pierced barrel of the striking mechanism. Silver dial with Roman hours, also with floral motifs, iron hands. Case pierced with flowers, tendrils, birds and insects, bell. Case numbered, movement signed.
