A slim French cylinder with digital hours in a gold open faced case, circa 1820. Key wind gilt Lépine caliber movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Unusual engine turned silver dial with subsidiary seconds, offset minutes, an aperture above displaying the hours in Arabic numerals and blue steel hands. Slim engine turned gold open faced case, wound and set through the signed and numbered gold cuvette.
