A fine French gold open faced skeletonized quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1810, full plate gilt fusee movement, finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with polished steel ring with garnet, plain three armed gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, nicely engraved outer ring, silver regulator dial, push pendant for quarter repeating on two steel gongs, polished steel repeating work, dial with black Arabic numerals and blue steel hands, pierced and engraved middle, depicting a man with a lion, case engine turned to the back.
