A French 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating cylinder pocket watch with early seconds register, circa 1820. High-quality cylinder movement with temperature compensation and parachute, repeating the hours and quarter hours on unusually solid gongs. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, a rare version with small seconds on the 3 and blued steel Breguet hands. Engine-turned case, French 18 carat gold hallmark. Case numbered, cuvette signed.
