A Swiss 18 carat rose gold pair cased quarter repeating repoussé verge pocket watch, circa 1750. Verge movement with grotesque cock, repeating the hours and quarter hours on a bell. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, rose gold hands. Repoussé outer case with particularly elaborate and detailed figure scene, rim with Rocailles and the finest decorated sound openings, the inner case with pierced rim, a small city view on the pendant, a grotesque face on the other side, bell. Cuvette and movement signed and numbered.
