An especially heavy and unique Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased pocket chronometer, circa 1882. Made for Relojeria Maurer, Barcelona. Very fine and very rare chronometer calibre with 2/3 plate, Geneva striping decoration, chronometer balance, eccentric fine adjusting device, balanced lever. Cuvette with rare Patek Philippe inscription that was only used for watches for the Spanish market Patek Philippe y Ca Ginebra No. 58590 Maurer y Ca Barcelona. White enamel dial with original rose gold hands. Case with deep floral engraving, typical case decoration for the Spanish market, monogram PB on both sides. Case and movement with matching numbers, cuvette and movement signed.
