A Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating keyless pocket watch made by Breguet, circa 1882. Sold on June 22nd, 1882, to Mr Mumbelli for 1615 francs. The gilt Swiss lever movement with an anker escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance, two polished hammers striking on two gongs. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and gilt Louis XV hands. The polished hinged case with a repeat slide to the band and an applied monogram on the back. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
