The white enamel dial presently fitted to this watch is an alternative to the fine engraved silver dial with gold foliate decoration that is sold with the watch and can be changed if so desired. The white enamel dial is mentioned on the original certificate and the silver and gold dial are mentioned on the Extract from the Archives. It is very unusual for the original box, certificate and spare parts to survive intact with the watch. The initials on the case were engraved at the factory and are mentioned in the original certificate and the Extract from the Archives.
