A high quality French 18 carat gold open faced repoussé pocket watch made by Chaudé in Paris, circa 1880. The bridge movement with a moustache lever escapement as used in Patek Philippe watches and wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and rose gold Louis XV hand. Repoussé Louis XV case, a relief on the back with the representation of a battle scene and two soldiers. Cuvette signed and numbered, case and movement numbered.
