An exceptionally large Swiss 18 carat rose gold skeletonized three-coloured gold Jacquemart automaton, circa 1790. Verge movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours. The front skeletonized with figure automaton, double glazed, figures and bells in a three-coloured gold finish, white enamel ring with Arabic hours, blued Breguet hands, elaborate gilt and engraved plate, polished steel striking mechanism. Plain, scalloped case. Case numbered and punched DCFs.
