Platinum dress watch and chain by Ulysse Nardin

A fine Swiss platinum open-faced dress watch with matching platinum chain and 18-carat white gold mechanical pencil, made in the 1920s. Rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, cut and compensated bimetallic balance with eight adjustments, blued steel self-compensating Breguet hairspring, index regulator. Silvered dial with applied gold fancy Arabic numerals, outer inset minute dots, subsidiary seconds, original gold beetle and poker hands. Solid case with a satin finish, initials AMM engraved to the reverse. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Platinum chain approx 14 inches length and three-piece mechanical pencil with initials AMM.
