A very fine and slim Swiss platinum and diamond-set dress watch, made in the 1920s. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 16 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance with three adjustments, two temperature, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Matte silvered dial with applied gold Breguet numerals, outer engraved dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and partially replaced gold Breguet hands. Solid case, polished, the interior of the back with engraved dedication, the band and bow set with diamonds, winding crown set with a cabochon sapphire. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
