Platinum split seconds chronograph with register by Meylan

A very fine, rare and thin Swiss platinum open faced split seconds chronograph keyless lever with with register, circa 1925. Retaild by Tiffany & Co. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperature and six positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan neck micrometer regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. Brushed silver dial with black champlevé dauphine numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second chronograph divisions with 5 minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds at 6, for the 30 minute register at 12 and original blued steel Breguet hands. Solid, polished case, concealed hinge, co axial button in the crown for the star/stop/return to zero functions of the chronograph, button at 11 for the split seconds. Dial signed by retailer, movement signed by watchmaker, case numbered.
