Silver military keyless lever deck watch by Ulysse Nardin

A very fine Swiss silver military keyless lever deck and pocket chronometer made for the British Navy, circa 1938-1939. Frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Anibal-brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with a terminal curve, swanneck micrometre regulator. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel spade hands. Polished bezels, engine-turned screwed-down back with a milled edge, with Glasgow import marks for 1938-1939. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered, the dial and movement with British Ministry of Defence broad-arrow mark.
