Silver deck watch for the British Navy by Ulysse Nardin

A very fine Swiss silver military keyless lever deck and pocket chronometer made for the British Navy, circa 1938-1939. Frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, swan neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed and with British Ministry of Defence broad arrow mark. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary secondsand original blued steel spade hands. Case with polished bezels, screwed down back with milled edge, engraved H.S.^2 and with Glasgow import Hallmarks for 1938-1939. Comes with associated wooden deck box numbered 26743.
