Silver and gold hour repeating, hour and half hour striking clockwatch

A fine and rare Swiss silver and gold open faced two train hour repeating, hour and half hour striking clockwatch, circa 1860. Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, double train with going barrels, each barrel with a detachable foliate engraved plate, 16 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three armed gold balance, flat balance spring, index regulator, striking hours and half hours, repeating hours on gongs activated by a button on the pendant. Hinged cuvette with engine turned border and engraved with the technical details. White enamel dial with Roman numerals outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. Polished case, gold hinges. Case and cuvette numbered.
