A fine and unusual Swiss silver open faced cylinder pocket watch with 24-hour dial, circa 1860. Nickel-silver movement, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Solid case, polished with engine-turned case back and band. Hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with painted 24-hour graduation, outer minute track and original gold spade hands.  Movement signed, case numbered.
