A fine and unusual Swiss silver cylinder pocket watch with 24-hour dial, circa 1860. Nickel-silver movement, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, three armed brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with painted 24-hour graduation, outer minute track, and original gold spade hands. Case engine-turned to the back and band. Movement signed, case numbered.
